How to Enjoy the Tour

Step 1: Choose several tour sites below to visit, being aware that you might not be able to see everything in one day.  You can start anywhere - the tour is self-guided and there is no admission charge!

Step 2: Load up your car with your friends and family and begin your tour!  Bring a cooler and pick up some fresh veggies, let your kids enjoy a hay-ride and barnyard animals, watch our artists in action and enjoy a day in the country!

Step 3: Visit our Ag + Art Tour information table at your first tour stop to sign-in.  You will be counted at each tour stop you visit but you only need to sign in at your first stop.  Be sure to use #agandarttour in all of your social media check-ins!

Step 4: Don't forget to check out farms and artisans in other participating counties!
With 10 counties over 5 weekends there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy!

We are a family owned and operated produce stand where you can enjoy fresh veggies, delicious ice cream and of course our sweet, juicy peaches.  We serve lunch Tues - Sat, 11-2.  Come enjoy an all-beef burger or a good ‘ol hot dog!  We also have local eggs, hoop cheese, local honey, boiled p-nuts, goat milk soap and so much more.  We have a farm playground for the kids and a large picnic area.

YCW2. Historic Brattonsville

Our 800-acre historic site is home to several breeds of heritage animals and heirloom crops.  Come meet our Gulf Coast sheep, dominique chickens, draft horse and cows. The fields of the antebellum plantation will be planted with corn, cotton and more.  Learn how our Carolina ancestors relied on hard work and the land for survival and success.

At the Bush-N-Vine you will have the opportunity to pick blueberries, blackberries, peaches and strawberries. Come sit on our porch and enjoy a cup of strawberry ice cream made from our strawberries. Also take a self-guided walking tour of the farm to see some of our fields where the fruits and vegetables are grown!

Our tiny family owned and operated blueberry farm has been in full operation about 8 years.  We have early and later varieties.  You are welcome to come and pick-your-own.  The berries arrive in June and bear thru late July so it is a wonderful time for picking!  We never spray our berries so you can eat them right off the bush!

We have a 90-acre farm with walking trails by the creek and sharecroppers cabin.  A large garden features a greenhouse where we grow a large variety of vegetables.  We also grow strawberries and blueberries.  In our pottery you can see a large display room with functional and decorative pottery for sale.  We offer clay for children projects and they can make their own piece.  We also plan to have bisque pieces for them to paint.

YCW7. Sanders Peaches

Come meet Dori Sanders at her Peach Farm Stand in Filbert, SC, a tiny community in York County, near Rock Hill, SC and Charlotte, NC. Her family operates one of the oldest African-American farms in the region (her father, a former sharecropper, bought the land around 1915). The farm produces fruits and vegetables and specializes in growing Georgia Bells and Elberta peaches which are sold at an old roadside stand.

YCW8. Sharon Hill Farm

Sharon Hill Farm raises pastured broiler chickens, laying hens, and turkeys.  We own Nigerian Dwarf Goats and will have some very recently born babies.  You can walk the farm, learn about the benefits of pastured poultry, and enjoy a petting zoo featuring goat kids and a mini horse.  On Saturday morning, you can take a goat yoga class (paid event, scheduled separately).  Bring a cooler to buy pastured chicken, chicken sausage, and eggs!

YCW10. Tatanka Bison Ranch

Come experience our 215-acre working ranch in York, SC. The primary purpose of the ranch is education and agritourism.  We use holistic management tools to naturally produce healthy and happy, 100% grass-fed and grass-finished Bison.  As a member of the National Bison Association, we adhere to their strict code of ethics, which includes no use of hormones and to not use antibiotics on a non-therapeutic basis.
