Tour Alert: The weather forecast for York County last weekend called for rain and thunderstorms causing some of our tour sites to close.  Luckily, some of our York County - West tour sites will be open this weekend (June 15 - 16).  Artisans are subject to change.

How to Enjoy the Tour

Step 1: Choose several tour sites below to visit, being aware that you might not be able to see everything in one day.  You can start anywhere - the tour is self-guided and there is no admission charge!

Step 2: Load up your car with your friends and family and begin your tour!  Bring a cooler and pick up some fresh veggies, let your kids enjoy a hay-ride and barnyard animals, watch our artists in action and enjoy a day in the country!

Step 3: Visit our Ag + Art Tour information table at your first tour stop to sign-in.  You will be counted at each tour stop you visit but you only need to sign in at your first stop.  Be sure to use #agandarttour in all of your social media check-ins!

Step 4: Don't forget to check out farms and artisans in other participating counties!
With 10 counties over 5 weekends there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy!

This tour site will be open this weekend: June 15 and 16!

We have a 90-acre farm with walking trails by the creek and sharecroppers cabin.  A large garden features a greenhouse where we grow a large variety of vegetables.  We also grow strawberries and blueberries.  In our pottery you can see a large display room with functional and decorative pottery for sale.  We offer clay for children projects and they can make their own piece.  We also plan to have bisque pieces for them to paint.

YCW10. Tatanka Bison Ranch

Come experience our 215-acre working ranch in York, SC. The primary purpose of the ranch is education and agritourism.  We use holistic management tools to naturally produce healthy and happy, 100% grass-fed and grass-finished Bison.  As a member of the National Bison Association, we adhere to their strict code of ethics, which includes no use of hormones and to not use antibiotics on a non-therapeutic basis.

We are a family owned and operated produce stand where you can enjoy fresh veggies, delicious ice cream and of course our sweet, juicy peaches.  We serve lunch Tues - Sat, 11-2.  Come enjoy an all-beef burger or a good ‘ol hot dog!  We also have local eggs, hoop cheese, local honey, boiled p-nuts, goat milk soap and so much more.  We have a farm playground for the kids and a large picnic area.

YCW3. Bush-n-Vine Farm

This farm will be open on Saturday, June 15! (Regular Business Hours)

At the Bush-N-Vine you will have the opportunity to pick blueberries, blackberries, peaches and strawberries. Come sit on our porch and enjoy a cup of strawberry ice cream made from our strawberries. Also take a self-guided walking tour of the farm to see some of our fields where the fruits and vegetables are grown!

The Museum will have all Galleries open for visitors with council members present to give guided tours. The Galleries represent life in York County from early inhabitants through the agrarian life style experience.  Displays also include military service performed by residents as well as family histories and genealogical materials.
